Ever since I was little I have been a HUGE Wonder Woman fan. I like the mix of her intelligence, strength, glamour and mission of peace. Lynda Carter playing the role on TV was my first exposure to the character. I was in awe of her. I wrote to Wonder Woman (aka Ms. Carter) and invited her to be the guest of honor at one of my birthday parties, but I never received a reply. It was worth a try! Fast-forward many years … my friend Eric heard Ms. Carter was going to be the grand marshal of the Capital Pride Parade in DC, so we went and secured a spot along the route. When her pink convertible drove by and she smiled and waved for a brief moment I felt like a little girl again.
