Hi! My name is Duke and I’m taking over my mom’s blog today. My friends Ellie (a playful Labrador Retriever) and Sundae (a cuddly Beagle) joined me for fun at Barktoberfest in Leesburg. We started our adventure with a brisk two-mile “Mutt Strut”. Next, we wandered around the vendor booths in the barns charming humans for treats and hitting the hydration stations for some refreshing water. A nice lady gave us a big bag that my mom said was full of cool swag. We met many other furry friends of all sizes and breeds. Best of all, we helped to raise money for our favorite cause, Friends of Homeless Animals (FOHA).
