My friend Jenny and I were looking for a fun weekend fall activity. Our friend Linda suggested the Temple Hall Farm Corn Maize & Fall Festival — SOLD! On a rare non rainy day we set out on our mazie adventure. The farm had lots of cool activities including: two ginormous pillow bounces, pig races, a petting zoo, local bands playing on a small stage, pumpkin blasters, a cow train and the main attraction … “the only 24-acre corn maize on the East Coast.” We entered phase one of the maize and had no problem completing it. We took a short break to recharge with some funnel cake and cider and then brashly went on to conquer phase two. It was a challenging course to maneuver through and we ran into many dead ends. A while later we ended up finding the exit, but it turned out to be the nighttime portion of the maize. We didn’t care, we still had a blast.
